The 1528 Club is named in recognition of the year The King’s School was endowed by Richard Foxe, Bishop of Winchester, whose vision and generosity laid enduring foundations for education in Grantham. Nearly five centuries on, that same spirit of philanthropy continues to shape and support the School’s future.
When you join the 1528 Club, you may choose to give a regular donation on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. Suggested amounts include £15.28, £152.80, or £1,528, or any amount you feel comfortable giving. You do not need to make a large donation to make a meaningful impact.
A monthly donation of £15.28 would amount to £916.80 over five years. With Gift Aid, this total could increase to £1,146.00, significantly enhancing the benefit to the School.
Every gift is gratefully received. Together, through many small acts of generosity, we can continue to support and enhance the education of current and future generations at The King’s School.

The Alumni Society
Within the broader alumni community, the Alumni Society has its own dedicated presence on this site. Founded in 1901, the Old Granthamians are the school's formally constituted alumni body, with their own officers, magazine, annual dinner and traditions. You can find their section via the Alumni link in the main navigation.
